About the role The Officer – Workforce Training Coordination supports the delivery and coordination of training programs for the Australian Red Cross Emergency Services workforce.
This role contributes to ensuring that Emergency Services personnel are effectively trained and prepared to contribute to emergency preparedness, response, and recovery activities.
This position focuses on the operational coordination of training events, assisting in program delivery, and contributing to workforce capability through training and facilitation.
About you You will bring sound technical knowledge and expertise in training, delivery and supporting training operations In addition, you'll demonstrate experience delivering training or workshops in a structured program environment, coordinating events, sessions, or activities involving multiple participants and supporting volunteers or staff in emergency services, humanitarian, or community sectors.
Experience contributing to program improvement or reporting is highly desirable.
Key behavioural and technical capabilities Ability to work under general direction from senior employees within clear objectives and budget constraints and work with and support teams and people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environment Ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organise their own work and that of lower classified staff and/or volunteers Sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems generally found in policies and practices Ability to coordinate multiple training activities and manage logistics effectively.
Demonstrated ability to deliver training and facilitate learning in small to medium groups.
Ability to work under direction, follow established plans, and support team priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively across teams and with volunteers.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail for scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing priorities and operational needs.

Salary from $88,****** + superannuation + salary packaging options.
