* 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
* Expected salary: $62,500 - $68,000 per year
Location: Darwin, Northern Territory (including regional NT project sites)
Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing (38 hours per week)
Salary: $62,500 – $68,000 per annum + superannuation (based on skills and experience). Overtime and penalty rates apply in accordance with Fair Work standards.
About the Role
Due to increasing demand for residential and commercial projects, DD Painting & Renovation Services Darwin is seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our growing team in Darwin. This role involves working on a range of residential, commercial, and renovation projects across the Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming
* Apply paints, coatings, varnishes, and sealants to interior and exterior surfaces
* Mix and match colours to project specifications
* Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
* Perform finishing work and touch-ups to a high standard
* Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements
* Maintain tools and equipment
* Work independently and within a team
Skills & Requirements
* Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent) OR minimum 3 years relevant painting experience
* Demonstrated experience in residential and/or commercial painting
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Ability to work in NT conditions and on-site environments
* Reliable and punctual with good teamwork skills
* Driver's licence preferred
