Work Health and Safety Officer
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and assessing work health and safety incident notifications. Your duties will include operating the Work Health and Safety Helpdesk, delivering statutory authorization services, and analyzing data to inform risk-based decisions.
To succeed in this position, you should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You will need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and be proficient in using Comcare systems.
* Assist in the operation of the Work Health and Safety Helpdesk
* Process incident and hazard notifications efficiently and accurately
* Analyze data to inform risk-based decisions
* Support other parts of the organization with information requests
Qualifications and Experience:
A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is desirable but not essential. You will also need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
* Australian citizenship
* Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check)
* Employee Health Declaration
* Six months probation period for new engagements
This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and may require occasional travel, including overnight absences.
