Job Description
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in the delivery of our data centers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the pre-commissioning and commissioning of critical infrastructure construction and special projects.
* Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning: You will be responsible for overseeing the multi-discipline division of work related to pre-commissioning and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure construction and special projects.
* Vendor Management: You will support and supervise vendors, contractors, and other teams involved in the construction and commissioning of various systems, including medium and low voltage power systems, Generators, UPS, HVAC, Chilled Water, BMS, and EPMS systems.
* Scheduling and Planning: You will provide multi-discipline input into scheduling, designing, and planning of projects.
* Quality Assurance: You will review all multi-discipline integrated systems testing and commissioning documents to ensure compliance with the basis of design, specifications, and standards of the project.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, with 5+ years' experience in commissioning, mechanical or electrical design, construction project management, control system installation or maintenance, HVAC testing and balancing, facilities operations and/or maintenance, and certification or training specific to NETA, ASHRAE, or Commissioning specific education course(s).
