At Dijitally, we’re on a mission to bring world-class creative talent to one of the leading names in the BNPL space. We’re hiring on behalf of Afterpay to help grow their in-house creative team – a group of thinkers, makers, and storytellers who push the brand forward across every channel.
We’re now looking for a CRM Copywriter to help shape Afterpay’s customer lifecycle communications. If you're a creative writer who understands how to craft copy that converts, engages, and adds real value at every touchpoint – this could be your next big move!
The Opportunity
As a CRM Copywriter, you’ll bring Afterpay’s voice to life across email and lifecycle messaging – from onboarding and engagement flows to reactivation, promotional campaigns, and everything in between. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, collaborative team that blends creative thinking with performance insights to deliver work that’s smart, effective, and on-brand.
This role is perfect for a writer who loves customer-centric storytelling, knows how to write for results, and can find fresh ways to say what matters most – without sounding like everyone else.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Write clear, compelling copy for lifecycle comms including email, push, in-app messaging, and onboarding journeys
* Develop messaging strategies across the full CRM funnel – acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation
* Collaborate with designers, CRM managers, and marketers to deliver cohesive, high-performing campaigns
* Maintain and evolve Afterpay’s tone of voice in CRM – keeping things consistent, human, and engaging
* Use performance data and insights to refine messaging and test new approaches
* (Optional) Contribute to cross-channel content and broader creative campaigns if interested
What You’ll Bring
* 5-7+ years of copywriting experience, ideally with a focus on CRM, lifecycle, or performance-driven channels
* A portfolio that shows strong writing craft and a knack for customer-centric messaging
* Understanding of user journeys, behavioural triggers, and the role of content in email and mobile comms
* Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
* A growth mindset – open to feedback, curious about testing, and focused on results
* (Bonus) Experience in Fintech, eCommerce, or working in-house with product-driven brands
Where You’ll Be Working
This is a Fixed Term Contract, initially running through to the end of 2025, with potential view to extension or Perm. You’ll work in a hybrid setup – primarily remote, with the option for in-office collaboration at Afterpay’s Sydney HQ. You’ll also have access to their Melbourne office if travelling or working with the broader team.
