Job Title: Chief Audit Executive
As a seasoned audit professional, you will be responsible for leading the internal audit function of the Australian Museum. Your expertise will ensure that the museum's operations are aligned with relevant regulations and standards.

2. Manage the internal audit function to identify and mitigate risks;
3. Develop and implement an effective audit methodology to meet regulatory requirements;
4. Collaborate with senior management and the board to ensure compliance and risk management;
5. Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and processes;
6. Provide recommendations for improvement and implementation plans;
7. Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including external auditors and regulators.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Advanced degree in accounting, finance or related field;
* Professional certifications, such as CAIA or CISA;
* Minimum 5 years of experience in audit or related field;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
