About The Facility
ALCC Radiotherapy offers state-of-the-art treatments using Varian Truebeam linear accelerators, Eclipse treatment planning system, and Aria record and verify system. Services include:
- Stereotactic treatments
- IMRT and VMAT
- 4DCT and gated treatments
- IGRT – planar kV, CBCT, and EPI
- Knowledge based planning
- Flattening Filter Free Beams
- Superficial treatments
In the near future, service delivery changes are planned, presenting an exciting time to be part of ALCC.
About The Role
As a Casual, you will join a team of dynamic ROMPs within ALCC. The role will require you to assist in service delivery and take on other duties as stipulated in the position description and at the discretion of the Chief Medical Physicist.
Responsibilities
- Assist in service delivery for the Radiation Oncology Medical Physics team.
- Support department operations and contribute to project work as required by the Chief Medical Physicist.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in a Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist role or similar setting preferred.
- Evidence of a 2025 influenza vaccination is required.
- Eligibility to work in Australia and the ability to meet Barwon Health immunization and clearance requirements.
