Job Summary
The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of facilities across multiple locations. This role ensures that all sites, buildings, plant, and equipment are safe, compliant, and optimized for operational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operations of all facilities to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and appearance.
* Develop and implement preventative and reactive maintenance schedules for buildings, plant, equipment, and infrastructure.
* Maintain accurate asset registers and ensure lifecycle management strategies are in place.
* Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Key Requirements
* Ensure all facilities meet workplace health and safety, environmental, and statutory compliance requirements.
* Source, negotiate, and manage service contracts for cleaning, security, building maintenance, waste management, and utilities.
* Drive energy efficiency, waste reduction, and other sustainability initiatives.
* Identify opportunities for process and systems improvements in facilities management.
