Patient Services Representative – Newcastle Urgent Care (Part-time/Days)
Overlake Medical Center and Clinics has a part time prospect for a Patient Services Representative to join our Newcastle Primary/Urgent Care clinic. In this role you will provide customer and front office services to patients for both Primary Care and Urgent Care. You will coordinate communications among staff, patients, and providers about the patient check-in process and collect records, ensuring distribution to the appropriate staff via the electronic medical record system (Epic). You will also perform clerical, scheduling, and records activities in support of patients and staff.
Work Schedule
0.6 FTE / 24 hours per week
Monday 6:45 – 2:15 / Friday 6:45 – 5:15 / Saturday 6:45 – 2:15
Clinic hours 7:*:00, open 365 days per year

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility preferred; previous physician office, hospital, or other frontline customer contact experience also preferred.
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Excellent telephone etiquette.
Solid communication skills and ability to work effectively with people in stressful situations.
Ability to multi-task, be organized, and detail oriented.
Proficient computer keyboard skills.
