Job Description
Our innovative team is looking for a Senior Radiation Therapist to join our cancer centre in Noosa. This full-time position will involve providing exceptional patient care, working closely with the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist and other multidisciplinary team members. You will be responsible for planning and treating patients using advanced technology and techniques, including stereotactic radiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist in the operational management of planning and treatment.
* Act as a technical resource and provide leadership to junior staff.
* Clinically implement planning and treatments as directed by the Radiation Oncologist that best meet the patient's needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A strong understanding of radiotherapy principles and practices.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in radiation therapy.
* Demonstrated experience in planning and plan checking in a range of radiotherapy techniques.
* Current AHPRA radiation therapist registration.
* Current Radiation License to use a radiation source.
