The role:
• Full-time, permanent position based in South Melbourne
• On-site most of the week due to operational and delivery needs
• Salary review at end of financial year (CPI-aligned)
• Lead and support accredited instructional designers, WHS trainers, simulation staff and delivery personnel
• Oversee the development, delivery and continuous improvement of accredited and non-accredited training
• Ensure training and assessment resources are high-quality and compliant with RTO Standards 2025
• Collaborate with managers across compliance, workforce engagement and technical programs
• Support consistent delivery practices across face-to-face, online and simulation-based programs
• Coach and guide trainers, review performance and support their professional development
• Maintain strong operational rhythms, clear communication and a positive team culture

What we're looking for:
• Experience as a Training Manager, Program Manager or Education Delivery Manager within an RTO
• Strong understanding of the RTO Standards, training packages and what good training and assessment look like
• Ability to work alongside other managers to meet shared goals
• Calm communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills
• Leadership experience (formal or informal) and a balanced, adaptable style
• Cert IV TAE or relevant education qualification
• Building and construction knowledge is helpful but not required
