A unique opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate handyperson at the Pinctada Hotel, just minutes from the turquoise waters and white sands of famous Cable Beach. The hotel's in one of WA's most iconic tourist towns is surrounded by the tranquillity of tropical gardens and captures the essence of Broome with its stunning design and luxury facilities.
Handyperson Role:
As a handyperson, your primary responsibility is to maintain the property's rooms and public areas through general repairs, preventative maintenance, and prompt response to maintenance requests.
Key Responsibilities:
* General Repairs: Fixing furniture, doors, locks, and basic electrical/plumbing fixtures.
* Preventative Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections and servicing equipment to ensure safety and operational standards.
* Guest Room & Public Area Care: Patching, painting, and repairing to maintain a high-quality, welcoming environment.
* Emergency Response: Promptly addressing maintenance issues as they arise.
* Venue Preparation: Setting up for events, seasonal decorations, or special requests.
* Reporting & Safety: Documenting repairs, logging tasks in maintenance systems, and adhering to WHS (Work Health and Safety) policies.
