Pregnancy Family Conferencing Coordinator
As a Pregnancy Family Conferencing Coordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of pregnant women and families at risk of their newborns entering out of home care at birth. You will promote early engagement and interagency planning with these individuals, working closely with health professionals and other stakeholders to reduce risks and identify suitable carers.
The coordinator will lead and manage the Pregnancy Family Conferencing program, undertaking clinical work including coordinating cases, developing and maintaining a team of skilled facilitators, facilitating conferences as required, and fostering strong partnerships with government and non-government agencies.
This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to initiate innovative problem-solving, and high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
To succeed in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in Social Work or current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Midwife, with relevant post-registration qualifications and experience. Experience in working within an interagency context, providing child protection services, and leading complex programs is also essential.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to think critically and creatively, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
