Clinical Care Specialist
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Care Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality evidence-based clinical care to adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including risk evaluations, treatment planning, coordination with internal and external services, and provide brief interventions.
Requirements:
* Must possess Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist OR AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker.
* Must demonstrate flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Knowledge of theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice is essential, along with demonstrated excellence in practical application in mental health and alcohol and drug use areas.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are required, including written communication.
* Ability to engage with individuals, advocate on their behalf, and establish effective relationships with staff, clients, families, friends, and stakeholders.
* Experience in electronic client/customer management systems, proficiency in desktop computer usage, and Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
* Must be eligible for WWCC and NDIS worker screening clearance.
