We are seeking an exceptional Commercial Manager to join our leadership team in a high-performance, multi-entity organisation operating at significant scale and complexity.
This is not a traditional reporting role. It is a strategic finance leadership position for a commercially astute, analytically rigorous, and intellectually sharp professional who thrives where insight, judgement and influence genuinely shape outcomes.
Reporting directly to the executive team, you will operate at the centre of financial strategy, performance transparency and capital stewardship across the Group.
The Opportunity
You will own and elevate the Group's financial planning, forecasting and performance architecture, ensuring decision-makers have clarity, foresight and confidence.
This role combines board-level exposure, banking relationships, strategic modelling, and hands‐on commercial partnership with operational leaders. It requires someone who can move seamlessly between detailed financial mechanics and big‐picture strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Budget Leadership
Lead the annual budgeting process across multiple business units
Drive the long‐term strategic planning framework and financial modelling
Challenge assumptions, test scenarios, and elevate the quality of decision‐making
Board & Executive Reporting
Oversee monthly results preparation and deliver sharp, insight‐driven board reporting
Translate complex financial data into clear narratives that inform strategy
Identify emerging risks and opportunities before they surface
Cash Flow, Capital & Banking
Lead Group cash flow forecasting with precision and discipline
Manage covenant reporting and maintain credibility with banking partners
Provide forward visibility on liquidity, funding and capital allocation
Commercial Business Partnering
Partner closely with GMs and Department Heads on performance, KPIs and margin optimisation
Interrogate results, drive accountability, and support operational decision‐making
Elevate financial literacy and performance culture across the Group
Strategic Projects & M&A
Deliver rigorous commercial analysis for major projects and initiatives
Build investment cases, evaluate returns, and assess risk scenarios
Support acquisition assessments, integration modelling and strategic expansion initiatives
