Job Description
Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel are looking for enthusiastic and service‐driven Food and Beverage Attendants to join our team on a casual basis.
If you're enthusiastic, service‐focused, and passionate about hospitality, we'd love to welcome you to our team. This role includes breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts with flexibility required across all seven days, including weekends and public holidays.
As a valued team member, you'll play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences by:
* Preparing Quality Beverages: Crafting coffee and beverages to a high standard, ensuring consistency and excellent presentation at all times.
* Taking Guest Orders: Accurately and attentively recording orders while accommodating guest preferences and dietary requirements.
* Menu Expertise and Recommendations: Demonstrating strong knowledge of the menu and confidently recommending suitable food and beverage options.
* Serving Food & Beverages: Providing professional, efficient service while ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
* Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Engaging warmly with guests, promptly addressing their needs, and consistently striving to exceed expectations.
* All‐Rounder Duties: Assisting with general Food & Beverage Attendant responsibilities as required, including setup, cleaning, and maintaining service areas.
Shift Details (subject to change)
* Rotating roster across Monday through to Sunday
* Split shifts may be required on some days
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)
Monday - Friday: $32.31 per hour
Saturday: $38.78 per hour
Sunday: $45.24 per hour
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
* Previous experience as a barista or in a similar hospitality role
* A warm and approachable demeanour with a positive attitude.
* Proven experience delivering high‐quality customer service.
* Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills.
