About the Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre
We are a client-centred organisation, supporting the community throughout Barwon, Wimmera, and the South West regions, offering a range of specialist support services to people impacted by sexual and family violence, encompassing 24 hour crisis care, specialist response services, early intervention programs, Victims Assistance Program, Community Legal Services, trauma recovery programs, professional training and primary prevention initiatives.
About The Role
The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner delivers best practice, integrated human resource function across the organisation. The focus of the role is to build a genuine business partner relationship with key internal stakeholders to enable them to meet their operational and strategic goals.
The P&C Business Partner will develop professional relationships across the organisation and act as a trusted partner and industrial relations advisor to the management team for people and employment issues and is responsible for providing sound and timely advice across the employee lifecycle.
The role will respond to employee relations and industrial relations matters, organisational development, recruitment and support the evolution of the organisation's culture and capability through innovative HR practices.

Key Selection Criteria
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Your application must address the following:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or an associated discipline, or equivalent.
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar senior HR position
Essential Skills and Knowledge
* Demonstrated experience in providing advice and support to employees and managers on a range of generalist areas through the employee lifecycle including performance management, employee relations, HR policies and procedures, organisational development and recruitment.
* Demonstrated experience in all facets of human resource management including the development, implementation and adherence of policies and procedures, recruitment, selection and retention systems, training and development and performance management.
* Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and provision of high-level advice in all areas of employment legislation including Industrial Relations and Employee Relations.
* Applied knowledge of Australian employment law and related regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, support and contribute to organisational projects that support improving practices or developing leader capability.
* Ability to manage priorities and ability to positively build effective working relationships.
* Excellent written communication skills, including report writing, analysis of trends and advice to managers and or employees on issues.
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal and time management skills and strong attention to detail
* A flexible approach and the ability to be proactive and productive where there is ambiguity.
* Ability to adhere to the organisations policies and procedures.

Period of Appointment
This position is causal and dependent on continuous funding to the service.
There are casual and permanent opportunities available.

Salary and Conditions
Industrial Instrument: The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre Enterprise Agreement 2023.
Salary Packaging: Provided via Maxxia. PBI status with other expenses available to package above this cap. The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre is a Public Benevolent Institution.
Superannuation: The employer will also make superannuation payments on your behalf in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992.
Probationary Period – 6 months with a review conducted during this time.
