To continue our success, an opportunity is now available for a talented and professional Capability Manager - Southern States to join our team. Responsible for the strategic development, effective utilisation and overall management of technical capability within their geographic division, and providing line management to the Capability team members.
**Responsibilities & Tasks**
- Identify need for additional capability within short and long term horizons based on anticipated demand
- Responsible for ensuring the Capability team has sufficient resources to meet the short term and long term project demand
- Work with the HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Manager to identify resource requirements, and to recruit new technical capability team members in response to short and long term need
- Liaise closely with Program Managers and Resource Planners, providing a forward view on capacity and availability of team members, and ensuring effective and sustainable billable utilisation
- Promote BMT for the purposes of attracting talent from various sources, including engagements with academia and professional bodies
- Capture and document the full breadth and competency of capabilities available within the geographic division through the APAC capability matrix
**You will have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in end-to-end contract and project management and project delivery, including client-side project management.
- Ability to demonstrate experience in large scale program development, management, and implementation or similar fields, including program-level cost estimating systems and risk management (claims management, schedule, budget, etc.).
- An entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent computer, communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Extensive experience leading a team.
