The Cemetery Services Manager is a key role within the Adelaide Cemeteries Authority, responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of cemeteries in Clearview, South Australia. This full-time position ensures the efficient management of these vital community assets.
What you'll be doing
1. Manage the cemetery operations team, including scheduling, performance management, and professional development.
2. Ensure operational procedures are current and incorporate continuous improvement processes in collaboration with all teams.
3. Oversee the maintenance and groundskeeping of cemetery grounds, facilities, and infrastructure.
4. Coordinate planning and execution of burial, interment, and memorial services.
5. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, WHS standards, and industry best practices.
6. Liaise with families, funeral directors, and stakeholders to provide excellent customer service.
7. Identify and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Contribute to strategic planning and development of the Adelaide Cemeteries Authority.
