The Role
The Business Optimisation Services Officer role sits within the Business Optimisation team whose primary purpose is to provide ongoing development and review of Training Force Systems enabling all personnel to deliver outcomes in the most effective manner to achieve Training Force’s mission. The team optimise strategies and practices to find efficient ways of working through improved workflows, frameworks and systems.
The role leads the Training Force Secretariat function, managing meeting cycles, coordinating agendas and ensuring documentation is prepared, tracked and aligned to the Training Force governance frameworks and legislative requirements. You will ensure timelines are met, actions are monitored and governance processes are applied consistently.
The role also oversee and supports the executive assistance to the senior leadership, ensuring priorities are coordinated, workflows are managed and high quality support is delivered in a timely manner.
The role operates in a dynamic environment and may be required to support a range of activities beyond its cores responsibilities. This includes providing flexible support to emerging priorities and business needs as directed. The ability to adapt, respond to changing requirements and contribute across the broader team will be important to ensure continuity or operations and delivery of organisational outcome.
About our Team
The Business Optimisation Team sits within the Office of COMTRAIN at Navy Training Force Headquarters. The team provides business optimisation services to Training Force to enable timely, efficient and accurate decision making. The team aims to identify and implement new methods and processes that seek to redesign and streamline, ensuring a continual improvement cycle is in place.
This role reports to the Deputy Director Business Optimisation Service Manager currently located at Training Force Headquarters, Campbell Park. The role will lead and provide support to the TF Executive Assistant and the APS 5 Business Optimisation Administration Officer.
