Renovation Carpenter - Sub Contract - Inner West Sydney
* Are you an experienced renovation carpenter?
* Are you the type of person that can handle all types of carpentry and building works? Eg lay a few bricks or minor rendering?
* Are you a gun finishing carpenter with an eye for detail? Love
* Are you flexible and happy to travel to multiple sites a day?
Earn $55 - $ % super + GST) per hour on subcontract basis (subject to experience)
We currently have a full time opportunity available for an experienced renovation carpenter in the Sydney -Inner West area.
The Role
If you have experience in any of the following types of work, then we want to hear from you.
* Framing and Cladding (particularly in terrace house renovations)
* Detailed Fit Out
* Detailed fitout eg scribing skirting, scribing doors to fit out of plumb jambs
* Installing entrance door handles on finished doors
* Odd Building Jobs
* Basic bricklaying
* Render small patches
* Propping walls
* Structural demo
* Liaising With Trades and Foreman's
* Liaise with foreman's and schedule your own week
* Organise carpentry materials at start of week and book in deliveries
* Give trades basic information from plans and specs
* Maintain Quality
* Maintain high quality builds
* Build to Australian Standards
Necessary qualifications/tickets/licenses
You must also possess all necessary qualifications/tickets including
* Cert IV in Carpentry
* WHS industry white card
* Current Drivers license
* Own tools
* Minimum 2 + years post apprenticeship experience
