Job Description
As a Qualified Support Worker, you’ll be part of a caring, inclusive team that helps older adults maintain their independence and wellbeing at home. Every visit is an opportunity to build connection, share a smile, and make someone’s day brighter.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing personal and mobility support with dignity and compassion
- Assisting with daily tasks and community activities that promote independence
- Supporting clients to achieve personal goals and stay connected
- Transporting clients to appointments or social outings (paid km’s)
- Communicating regularly with your team to ensure the best outcomes for clients
Desired Skills and Experience
What you’ll bring
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Community) or Nursing student with Aged Care placement completed
- Experience in Aged Care or Community Services
- Empathy, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Registered and comprehensively insured reliable vehicle
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination’s highly recommended
