Opportunity
The Senior Procurement Specialist is required to manage the end-to-end (source to contract) activities of assigned procurement projects to deliver maximum value for TAFE SA.
The role will deliver a complex range of functions from an underpinning discipline knowledge; operate as a member of a specialist, multi-disciplinary team and has the ability to work autonomously to provide high level procurement co-ordination, procurement and contract management services and expert advice across TAFE SA that enables the achievement of business goals.
What We're Looking For
* High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to consult and liaise collaboratively with stakeholders, respond effectively to the requirements of a diverse client base.
* Experience in successfully negotiating on complex and sensitive issues to deliver value for money and sound commercial and compliance outcomes.
* Proven ability to schedule and coordinate end-to-end procurement projects and programs including the ability to develop acquisition plans, tender packages, specifications and evaluation criteria within legislative guidelines with limited direction.
* Understanding of State Government procurement frameworks, legislation, and governance requirements.
* Ability to prepare complex procurement documentation and reports.
* Ability to manage and coordinate contract risk management practices.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
