Arab Bank Australia Limited is offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Credit Analyst to manage and grow a consumer portfolio. This will be a permanent role based in Bankstown, NSW.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing Credit submissions for the Relationship Manager's approval
- Preparing and reviewing all lending documentation as well as ensuring pre and post approval conditions are met
- Conducting reviews and recommending restructures and/or extensions to existing credit facilities
- Preparing management reports for the Relationship Manager assisting with daily management of the business relationship between the Bank and a defined group of existing customers
- In order to be successful in this role, you will have at least two (2) years' work experience as a Credit Analyst or similar titled role in a banking or brokerage capacity
- Ability to prepare credit submissions to present to the credit team for approval
- A proven ability to analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements and budgets
- An understanding of legislation & codes of conduct pertaining to lending, including the National Consumer Credit Code, Privacy Act, Cheques & payment Act, AUSTRAC and Fair Trading Practices Act
- Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal and negotiation skills
