About the Job
This role offers an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team coordinating the recovery of individuals experiencing or at risk of developing severe and complex mental health disorders. The Senior Health Clinician will provide expert clinical services in collaboration with consumers, carers and other care providers using an integrated and family-centred approach while demonstrating advanced clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of healthcare professionals in improving the quality and efficiency of clinical services and the patient/client experience.
* Work with consumers who may be experiencing high levels of distress, grief, anger and anxiety.
* Develop and implement holistic, trauma-informed, culturally safe and responsive service delivery models.
* Employ innovative, evidence-based skills and interventions to support individuals seeking assistance with alcohol and drug use.
Requirements
* Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, Counsellor Level 3, Occupational Therapist Level 3, Senior Psychologist, Social Worker Level 3, Welfare Officer Level 3 qualifications.
* Expert clinical services provision in collaboration with consumers, carers and other care providers.
* Advanced clinical practice demonstration.
