About The Role
An exciting role with an industry-leading Services organisation currently exists to fill a key position in their finance team. This Management Accountant role will help provide accurate, timely, and relevant reporting, analysis, and insight to drive efficiency, productivity, and improve financial outcomes for the business. Initially, this will be a long-term contractual role, with potential for extension or permanency.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assist in monthly closing to ensure all month-end journals and accruals are accurate and completed.
2. Ensure management reports are accurately completed within the specified timelines.
3. Monitor revenue and expenditure patterns; investigate and report on variances.
4. Verify data accuracy across databases and allocations to business units.
5. Assist with the forecasting process.
6. Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast, explaining variances.
7. Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
CA/CPA qualification, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work both independently and within a team, strong attention to detail, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
