We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute General Manager – People & Culture to partner with the CEO and Strategic Leadership Team and lead the next stage of this transformation.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, this role is a key strategic partner to the Strategic Leadership Team, with genuine influence over organisational direction, workforce capability and culture.
The General Manager – People & Culture will provide enterprise-level leadership across workforce strategy, leadership capability, organisational design and people risk, ensuring MGM Bulk has the capability and culture required to support ongoing operational and commercial success.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and stewarding the People & Culture strategy aligned to business objectives
* Providing strategic advice to executive leadership on workforce risk, culture and organisational design
* Driving leadership capability and performance across operations and corporate teams
* Overseeing workforce planning, remuneration, ER/IR governance, talent acquisition and people systems
* Embedding a values-led culture across diverse and geographically dispersed operations
* Strengthening data-driven workforce decision-making and governance
The role will lead an integrated People & Culture structure comprising specialist functions across employee experience, workforce planning, recruitment, systems and analytics, learning and capability, and employee relations.
About You
You are an experienced senior People & Culture leader with a strong operational and commercial mindset.
You will bring:
* Proven executive-level leadership experience in People & Culture / HR
* Demonstrated success leading organisational transformation or strategic function uplift
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to align people strategy with business outcomes
* Deep knowledge of workforce risk, compliance and ER/IR governance
* Experience working within complex, multi-site or operational environments
* A collaborative and pragmatic leadership style that builds trust and credibility
You are values-led, strategic and capable of balancing long-term vision with practical delivery.

You will join an organisation that offers:
* Genuine executive influence and strategic ownership
* A leadership team committed to growth, culture and continuous improvement
