Position: Instrument Repairer
Full-time | 38 hours per week
Restore the past. Repair the present. Learn a rare trade.
Lionel Otto Instruments has been repairing and restoring automotive instruments for over 70 years. We're best known for breathing new life into classic car and motorcycle gauges, while also diagnosing and repairing modern electronic instrument clusters.
We're a small, close-knit workshop and we're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, loves problem-solving, and takes pride in precision work.
If you're mechanically curious, detail-focused, and interested in learning a niche craft that very few people do anymore, this could be your perfect fit.
About the Role
You'll be repairing and restoring automotive instruments for cars and motorbikes, ranging from vintage mechanical gauges to modern electronic clusters.
No two jobs are the same. One day you might be delicately restoring a classic speedometer, the next diagnosing an electronic fault in a late-model dashboard.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential. We provide full on-the-job training for the right person.

What We Offer
* Full-time, stable employment (38 hrs/week)
* Comfortable air-conditioned workshop
* No heavy lifting and no working in the sun
* A relaxed, friendly workplace with experienced mentors
