About Us
Technical Maintenance Support is a progressive, independently owned and operated company based in Geraldton, Perth, and Kalgoorlie, WA. We specialise in a wide range of services, primarily focused on fixed plant mining equipment throughout the Midwest and Pilbara regions.
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly driven Logistics Manager to join a proactive and busy team.
About the Role
As a Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in manning and in-depth mobilisation and demobilisation of people and equipment for shutdowns and projects.
Reporting to the Managing Director this role will work in conjunction with Management to ensure Workfront's are manned, and employees are site ready and mobilised to site.
* Plan and assign crew to all Shutdown and Projects Works
* Entering & Management of works in Rapid Crews
* Co-Ordinate workload for Personnel Logistics Officers
* On call requirements
* Assignment & Management of Clients site access needs
* Arranging logistics to and from site
* Quotes and Estimates for all Shutdown and Projects work
* Approval of Mob and Demob emails (formed by the Personnel Logistics Officers)
* Assignment of new starters to jobs as required
* Liaise with "Recruitment Officer" for any vacant positions and advise them to advertise
* Maintaining Employee Records / Training Matrix through Rapid Crews
* Conducting a hand over when required to ensure the department runs smoothly
* Attend Management and Logistics meetings twice a week
* Conduct and supervise DAS and Fit Testing when required
Essential Skills & Knowledge
* Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with shutdown/turnaround planning and execution.
* Proficiency with logistics software and data analysis highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and management skills.
* A strong focus on safety and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years in a leadership or similar position.
* Valid Police Clearance
