What's the role?
News Corp Australia is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Executive to join our State & Communities, Brand & Content team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across some of Australia's most iconic news media brands, including The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Courier-Mail, The Advertiser, and our Regional Mastheads.
What you will be doing
As a Marketing Executive, you will keep our marketing operations running smoothly whilst building your strategic marketing capabilities.
* Lead smaller content campaigns end-to-end, with support from your manager
* Support larger brand and content campaigns across multiple projects
* Manage campaign assets, folders and creative distribution
* Maintain campaign calendars, briefs and project updates
* Coordinate team meetings, including agendas, notes and actions
* Pull and format basic campaign performance data
* Build strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and partners
* Support invoicing, purchase orders and general team administration
* Assist with presentations and deck creation
Who are you?
This is an ideal role for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to develop their skills in a fast‐paced media environment, build strong stakeholder relationships, and grow their understanding of integrated brand and content marketing.
Key Skills & Experience
* 1–2 years of experience in marketing, media, communications or a similar role
* Excellent time management skills with proven ability to juggle multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
* A genuine interest in news, media and audience engagement
* Confidence working with a range of stakeholders
* Clear written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset
* Proficiency in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs) and willingness to learn new tools
