You will perform the following duties as required:
Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience, preferably in a modern menu-based environment.
* In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavour profiles and culinary trends.
* The ability to develop and cost menus, manage inventory and control food costs efficiently.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure.
* A high level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exception food quality and presentation.
* Relevant certifications in food safety and hygiene.
* Knowledge of food safety, food hygiene and food allergies/intolerances and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, handling and labelling of ingredients.
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* Reliable, professional and dedicated to the position.
* Outgoing and approachable personality. Great commination skills
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Cooking pizzas in a wood fired oven.
* Perpetration, portioning, storing and hand stretching of the pizza dough & applying toppings.
* Ensuring consistent quality in each dish with taste and appearance.
* Set up workstation according to our list of procedures, keep workstation clean and tidy including routine cleaning and equipment maintenance.
* Assisting with development for new seasonal pizzas and pizza specials with precise toppings and flavours.
