About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Planning Officer to join our team! This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time role (Monday to Friday), based in either our Belmont or Port Hedland office.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and allocate workforce resources for shutdowns and project work
* Maintain systems, personnel rosters, and crew databases
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth work schedules and labour planning
* Manage labour hire workflows
* Labour forecasting
* Track and report on workforce data daily, weekly, and monthly
* Leave balance management
* Payroll and invoicing approvals
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in the resources sector, particularly in planning, recruitment, or mobilisation is desirable but not required
* Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and Visual Dispatch
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
* Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional phone manner
