Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and control of materials within a warehouse, production facility, or distribution center. This role supports manufacturing and logistics operations by ensuring materials are properly received, inventoried, staged, and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and supplies. Verify shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. Store materials in designated areas and maintain accurate inventory records. Pull, package, and stage materials for production or shipment according to schedules. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areas. Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies. Communicate effectively with production, shipping, and procurement teams. Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management. SKILLS: 1-3 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Basic computer and inventory management skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Team player with good communication skills. Work Environment: Warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution setting. May require working in varying temperatures or conditions. Use of safety equipment and adherence to company safety standards required.
