About the Role
We're seeking a reliable, warm‐hearted Support Worker to join our small care team supporting an intelligent, vibrant young woman living with a high-level spinal cord injury in her own home. This is a rewarding, diverse role in a peaceful and supportive workplace.
You'll provide a mix of personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship, helping maintain a comfortable and well‐run home. Full training is provided for complex care tasks.
Responsibilities
* Personal care and daily living support
* Meal preparation and light cooking
* Household tasks (cleaning, laundry, tidying)
* Supporting a calm, organised home workplace
* Caring for and interacting with the family Cavoodle
About You
* Caring, dependable, and a transparent communicator
* Proactive and able to follow direction when needed
* Experienced or interested in complex care (training provided)
* Some exposure to disability support or complex care is preferred
* Comfortable with household tasks
* A dog lover
* Legally able to work in Australia
* A current driver's licence holder
* Police check must be within the last 6 months
Shifts Available
* 6:00 am – 12:00 pm
* 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
* 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
* 9:00 pm – 6:00 am (active overnight)
Weekday, weekend, and overnight shifts available.
Pay & Conditions
SCHADS Award – Social & Community Services Employee (Casual)
$ – $ per hour (base casual rate, depending on competency level)
Penalties and loadings apply as per the Award.
PAYG employment only (no independent contractors)
