Bills Marine are seeking a Marine Accessories Counter Sales Assistant to join our friendly team at our established Marine Dealership in Far North Queensland.
If you enjoy boating, fishing, and the outdoors and have retail sales experience (or want to build it) we'd love to hear from you.
Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for someone from a marine, camping, fishing, or outdoor retail background. Think BCF, Anaconda or perhaps at a tackle shop and you are wanting to move into a more specialised marine business with a great supportive team working for a smaller, local family-owned operation… we want to hear from you

The Role
This is a front-counter retail role, focused on marine accessories, chandlery items, and customer service. Think Lowrance, Garmin and Humminbird products, Minn Kota Electric motors, Anchors, Rope and Chain, Bilge pumps, and Navigation lights.. If you know these products well and have a keen interest in the marine world, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
* Counter sales of marine accessories and chandlery products
* Assisting customers with product selection and basic advice
* Answering phones and assisting walk-in customers
* Stock control, restocking shelves, and maintaining product displays
* Picking, packing, and dispatching accessory orders
* Supporting the workshop and sales team as required
Skills & Experience
* Retail sales experience (marine, fishing, camping, or outdoor retail preferred)
* Interest in boating, fishing, and marine products
* Good communication skills and a friendly customer manner
* Basic computer skills
* Reliable, punctual, and well presented
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work as part of a team
