Job Description Oaks Middlemount Suites is currently looking for a dedicated, experienced, and hands-on as a Co Caretaker / Guest Experience Attendant on a casual basis.
Caretaking: Provide an overnight onsite presence to ensure guest and property safety Respond to after-hours guest enquiries, incidents, and emergencies Ensure compliance with property procedures and safety standards Maintain clear and accurate handover notes for day operations Key Responsibilities: As a Co-Caretaker / Guest Experience Attendant, you'll be the first point of contact for guests, creating welcoming experiences while supporting housekeeping and caretaking responsibilities.
Participate in co-caretaking duties and ensure the property is well-maintained Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism Oversee check-ins, check-outs, and guest enquiries Supporting the Housekeeping team Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time Assist with monthly reporting and administrative duties Opening and closing the property with periods of working independently Promptly address guest feedback or complaints Shift Details (subject to change): Day shifts scheduled across Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Caretaking duties across four days Split shifts: 7:00am - 11:00am and 1:00pm - 5:00pm Role will involve opening and closing the property, with periods of working independently Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation): Monday - Friday: $***** per hour Saturday: $***** per hour Sunday: $***** per hour Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in front office, hospitality, or customer service Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively Proficient with reservation systems and Microsoft Office (training provided) Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Eligible to live onsite and perform shared caretaking responsibilities Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays Additional Information At Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
