Senior Customer Services / Senior Client Services

The Company

A leading freight forwarding and logistics provider is seeking a skilled Senior Client Services Representative to support a growing portfolio of import, export and cross-trade customers. The organisation delivers tailored freight solutions across international supply chains and is known for strong service standards, responsiveness and operational excellence.

The Position

Based in the Southwest Melbourne Head Office and working one day per week from home, this role is responsible for managing customer relationships, coordinating shipments end-to-end, and ensuring the smooth flow of operational and commercial information.

You will act as the primary point of contact for your client portfolio, handling bookings, monitoring shipments, managing reporting dashboards, assisting with SOP development, and ensuring a high standard of customer communication.

The position requires excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced international logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage client relationships, bookings and order management across air, sea and cross-trade shipments
* Track and trace shipments, ensuring timely updates across internal and external stakeholders
* Assist with quotes, invoicing queries, SOP creation and new client transitions
* Liaise with global offices, origin agents and suppliers to ensure operational consistency
* Attend implementation meetings and support onboarding for new accounts as required
* Maintain high service standards through proactive communication via phone, email and online platforms

About You

* Experience in international freight forwarding, logistics or supply-chain operations
* Good experience with Cargowise needed
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Excellent time management with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confident using shipment systems, Microsoft Office and CRM tools
* Knowledge of Incoterms, transit times, carriers and freight processes highly regarded
* Able to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
