Our client is a family owned; multi-franchised dealership based in the beautiful city of Cairns. They are seeking an experienced BMW trained technician, with experience with diagnostics for the brand. This role offers a great opportunity for a lifestyle change.

Cairns, considered the gateway to Australia's Great Barrier Reef, is a city in tropical Far North Queensland. Its Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park tells the stories of indigenous Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with music and dance. Cairns Esplanade, lined with bars and restaurants, has a swimming lagoon. Northwest of the city, Daintree National Park spans mountainous rainforest, gorges and beaches.
The ideal candidate for this role must have their Certificate III in automotive, with BMW brand experience. Dealership experience will be viewed favourably. The candidate must have diagnostic experience with the BMW brand.
Essential requirements:
- Must hold your full qualification in Automotive (LV)
- Be up to date in your training of BMW systems
- Be proficient in diagnostics
- Hold a valid manual drivers licence
- Have strong and effective communication skills
- Have your own tools
- Be committed to workshop safety
- Be a diligent and hard worker
- Commitment to providing great customer service
- Full Australian working rights
The salary for this role, will be discussed in interviews and is negotiable, dependent on experience. You will also receive continued training with the brand, to ensure your career progression.
