We are looking for an experienced Softscaper who has 3+ years experience in the skills below:
- Installs irrigation as per irrigation design/landscape design
- Reads landscape design prints/irrigation designs and implements the irrigation installation plan.
- Reads landscape design prints and implements soil preparation, planting, mulching and grass installation.
- Understands elevations and uses this knowledge to execute the construction plan.
- Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment, including bobcats, backhoes, plate compactors, stone grinders, drills, gas and electric chop saws, demolition hammers, and jackhammers.
- Operates automatic and manual vehicles, such as ute and truck and trailer combinations.
- Routinely interacts with clients by way of introductions at the beginning of a job, answering questions, responding to client's requests, making reasonable changes to the plan, and providing a walk-through at the job's completion.
- Completes the necessary paperwork including timesheets, work orders, change orders, material requisitions, and client tickets.
- Plans and organises the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Also ensures that the job is completed in the most time-effective manner.
- Maintains irrigation stock, ensures availability of all parts for current projects and orders any parts necessary, to keep stock levels up, for collection/delivery by supplier.
- Manages a team of 1-2 or more employees, including handling personnel issues on site and training employees on policies and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including worksite and equipment.
- Maintains assigned equipment and notifies mechanics of needed repairs.
- Occasionally applies chemicals under the direction of a licensed custom applicator.
- Comply with all relevant OH&S; processes and procedures on the clients site or company OH&S; policies and procedures.
**Salary**: $59,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:
- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
