Join our Model Risk Management team based in Sydney, responsible for independent validation of trading models used for pricing and valuations, Market Risk regulatory capital, Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), Valuation Adjustments (XVA), and the Standardised Initial Margin Model (SIMM).

What role will you play?
As a Senior Manager, you will join the team responsible for validating trading models used for pricing, valuations, and risk management, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations such as APS180, CPS226, and APS116. The role involves managing risk management outcomes for stakeholders across various departments and ensuring global validation practices meet local regulatory requirements.
What you offer
* A strong quantitative educational background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage model validations independently.
* 7+ years experience in risk management, with knowledge of financial products, trading risk, and advanced modelling techniques including CCR, back-testing, and curve bootstrapping.
* Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders and navigate model risk policies and regulations.
* Experience with model calibration using statistical or stochastic models, and knowledge of computational finance.
* Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Python and R; familiarity with C++ is advantageous.
