The Role
* Manage your own portfolio of SME clients across tax, compliance and advisory services
* Prepare and review BAS, payroll, EOFY, FBT, tax planning and compliance obligations
* Lead client relationships as the primary point of contact
* Run client meetings including AGMs and quarterly business improvement sessions
* Identify opportunities for restructuring, tax planning, management reporting and advisory growth
* Review and mentor junior staff while supporting technical development
* Maintain accurate workflow and client records across Xero, XPM, Karbon, Hubdoc and related systems
* Communicate proactively with clients in clear, commercial, jargon‐free language
* Work closely with leadership on progression toward Senior Client Manager
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or equivalent
* CA qualified or actively progressing (must be enrolled)
* 3‐5+ years Australian public practice or business services experience
* Advanced / expert Xero capability (highly essential)
* Strong technical capability across BAS, payroll, EOFY, tax compliance and SME advisory
* Ability to independently manage workflow and client portfolios
* Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial matters
* Experience reviewing junior work or mentoring advantageous
* Commercial mindset with proactive problem‐solving capability
* Positive, accountable and career‐driven attitude
