Job Description: Oracle DBA in Perth
Responsibilities
* Design & build Oracle Databases: Oracle standalone, Oracle RAC, Oracle ADG; Golden Gate is added advantage
* Design & build MySQL Databases: Standalone, Master Slave configuration
* Design & build Microsoft SQL Databases: Standalone, AlwaysOn, Replication or Logshipping
* Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Centre knowledge
* HawkEye Monitoring tool knowledge
* Develop and maintain system documentation related to the database configuration
* Perform Patch & release management
* Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity
* React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools – escalating to management where appropriate
* Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system
* Knowledge of following Operating System environments: Redhat/Oracle Linux, IBM AIX, Oracle Solaris, Windows Servers
Interpersonal Skills
* Proven ability to deliver results as required within specific time frames
* Ability to work within a team in a cross cultural environment
* Ability to work after hours
Qualifications and Experience
* 5 - 7 years of experience as Database Admin on Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL
* Formal IT related qualifications
