Our client is a dynamic, forward-thinking tier 1 builder, who pride themselves on their culture and their people, with good tenure and high-performing staff.
Through growth, they require an experienced site manager to join a successful team for a long-term role in Townsville.
Your new role
You will be joining them on a large landmark Govt project, over $300M in build cost, due to run for 3 years. This project has commenced but is still in the early stages with 4 established Supervisors already on the ground. All that's missing is you With overall responsibility for construction delivery, you will report to the Construction Manager with a focus on driving the program, on time, to budget with zero safety issues.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you must have experience as a Site Manager on large commercial projects (at least $50M+), ideally from the tier 1 or tier 2 space. Experience with Govt and/or Defence projects will be highly regarded, while a current Open QBCC Supervisors Licence is essential. You will also need to be an Australian citizen who will pass a full police check / defence clearance and medical clearance.
This will also suit a Senior Site Manager, well established and ready to join an employer of choice on this key project. Only candidates based in Australia will be considered and, preferably, currently based or willing to relocate to Townsville.
What you'll get in return
This is not a FIFO role, but relocation will be provided along with short-term accommodation. Salary will be commensurate with experience, while a total salary package of up to $270k/$280k is a good indicator. This is a permanent role, joining a reputable tier 1 builder, with long-term work.
