Direct message the job poster from JD Ross EnergyAssociate Director - Renewable Energy at JD Ross EnergyNew job post....I'm currently in the market searching for a Project Director to work for one of Australia's leading renewable energy organisations that focuses on Developing, Building & Operating utility-scale renewable energy projects across Australia.Summary:Position: Project DirectorLocation: East Coast, AustraliaIndustry: Renewable Energy (Wind/Solar/BESS; utility-scale)Salary: $$$$ + super + bonusStart: August/September 2025Responsibilities:Coordination of project to Financial Close, including; late-stage development, procurement, construction.Ownership of the schedule and coordination of multiple workstreams and stakeholders in order to achieve Financial Close. This will require strong leadership and communication skills along a strong project management focus.Project Management/Execution: Implement robust project management and governance processes for the project, in consultation with the PMO.Engage with the wider organisation to ensure risks, issues and contingency are efficiently and effectively managedContractor Management: Participate in the contract finalisations and negotiations. Provide an escalation pathway for contractual disputes and resolutions. Ensure the project is actively managing the contractor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.Design Management: Provide technical and construction input into late-stage development.
