Carve Industries is seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Officer/ Office Manager to join our growing team. This role is central to keeping our operations running smoothly across electrical, refrigeration, air-conditioning, solar, and project services.
The Administration Officer will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and trade-specific duties, including:
* General Administration: Managing phone and email enquiries, maintaining records, filing, data entry, and supporting day-to-day office operations.
* Financial & Bookkeeping Support: Processing invoices, reconciling accounts, assisting with payroll preparation, and supporting the finance team with Xero.
* Trade-Specific Administration: Job scheduling and tracking in Simpro, coordinating technicians' workloads, managing fleet requirements (rego, service, maintenance), and ensuring compliance documentation is up to date.
* HR & Onboarding: Supporting new employee inductions, maintaining staff records, and assisting with rostering.
* Client & Team Support: Acting as the first point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication between the office and field staff, and ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently and professionally.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in the electrical or trade industry, combined with knowledge of Simpro and Xero, will be highly regarded.
Simpro experience is preferred but not essential, with training provided to suitable candidates.
Electrical or trade industry experience is highly preferred for this position.
Administration experience is preferable for this position.
Mandatory experience with Xero accounting software is essential for this role.
