Front Office Receptionist is a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of an office. We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Office Receptionist to join our team for a 12-month contract with a view to permanent employment.
About the Role:
This position involves overseeing the front office and reception area, including managing office supplies, kitchen and catering equipment, and ensuring a secure environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and customer service skills, be proactive and able to multitask, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Responsibilities include greeting visitors, assisting with signing in via visitor management systems, pre-registering visitors on VMS, and managing access/security passes for staff/visitors.
* The successful candidate will also arrange couriers, distribute mail and packages, liaise with IT regarding laptop coordination for new joiners and leavers, and assist with setting up events in the office.
* In addition, the Front Office Receptionist will monitor reception inboxes, pass on email messages, and provide administrative support as needed.
About You:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or front office role is essential.
* A professional and welcoming attitude, combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills, is crucial for this position.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
* Organisational and time management skills are also essential for success in this role.
