Ward Support Assistant (Patient Services Assistant Level 1-2)
Position: Permanent, part‐time and full‐time available (up to 76 hours per fortnight) at The Alfred.
Department: Alfred Health Support Services provides non‐clinical support across Alfred Health including cleaning, car parking, fleet management, waste, gardens, distribution, security, ward support, linen, ancillary, food services and hospitality.
The Role
Provide a customer‐focused service to patients and stakeholders of Alfred Health and adhere to all requirements ensuring the support services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner. Perform all scheduled and ad‐hoc support tasks within a specific ward as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance.
* Have the ability and adaptability to participate in change.
* Have completed or be willing to participate in training and education appropriate to improve skills required for the performance of the position.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Background in ward support or similar position in a health care setting.
