Regional Role- WA | Aged Care Quality & Compliance | Melbourne
For Purpose Aged Care is seeking a Quality Operations Specialist to partner with operational leaders and support consistent, practical implementation of quality and governance systems across our residential aged care services.
This role is hands‐on, field‐facing and focused on translating regulatory and governance requirements into everyday practice at service level.
About the role
Reporting to the Quality & Risk Manager, you will:
* Provide quality and regulatory support to a designated group of services
* Support services to maintain ongoing regulatory readiness
* Conduct and coordinate internal audits and peer reviews
* Analyse audit findings, incidents and quality data to identify risk themes
* Support development and monitoring of corrective action plans
* Escalate systemic risks through formal governance pathways
* Coach and mentor site leaders in quality systems and governance maturity
* Contribute to regional and enterprise quality reporting
This role involves regular travel within the designated region.
About you
You are a quality-focused clinician who enjoys working closely with services and building capability.
You will bring:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Experience in aged care quality, governance or compliance
* Strong working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Experience supporting audits, accreditation or regulatory readiness
* Ability to interpret quality and risk data to identify trends
* Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills
* Sound judgement in identifying and escalating risk
Postgraduate qualifications in quality, governance or health administration are desirable.
