**About the role**:
We're looking for passionate and dedicated Assistants in Nursing (AINs) who thrive in a team environment and are committed to delivering exceptional care. If you have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a focus on honesty and teamwork, we want to hear from you!
In this part-time role, you'll work a minimum of 3 shifts (10 hours each) per fortnight, Monday to Saturday, providing support to our dialysis nursing team. Your duties will include preparing consumables, setting up dialysis machines, monitoring patients under RN supervision, and assisting with the completion of dialysis treatments. You'll be guided by experienced senior nursing staff and the Nurse Unit Manager, with comprehensive orientation and training days to ensure you're fully prepared for success in this important role. **Where you'll be working**:
You will be joining a highly skilled and motivated team at the Wansey Dialysis Unit at Charlestown who love what they do and are proud of the care that they deliver.
Wansey Dialysis Unit is a 22 chair Dialysis Unit centre and is the largest dialysis unit in the HNE Local Health District. We are part of the John Hunter Hospital Department of Nephrology and we provide over 230 dialysis treatments per week as well as providing support for home dialysis and pre dialysis patients.

**Requirements**:
- Certificate III Assistant in Nursing (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care) or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year) or have equivalent experience.
