Service Manager – Caravan & RV Industry (Leadership Role)

RV Solutions WA is one of Western Australia's largest and most respected caravan dealerships and repairers.
We're an $8–10m business, known for premium repair work, complex insurance and warranty jobs, and custom builds that others can't handle.
We're now looking for a high-calibre Service Manager to take full ownership of our service department and customer outcomes.
This is not a "counter role".
This is a leadership position with real authority, accountability, and influence.
About the Role
As Service Manager, you own what is promised to the customer — scope, pricing, timing, and communication.
You'll lead the service advisory function, oversee warranty and insurance workflows, and work closely with our Workshop Foreman to ensure the workshop is set up to succeed before a job starts.
Your success will be measured commercially and operationally:
accuracy of scoping
stability of the workshop schedule
margin protection
customer satisfaction
clean paperwork and strong process discipline
You won't be turning spanners — but you will be running the engine room.

Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end customer experience for all service, repair, warranty, and insurance work
Ensure every job is properly scoped, authorised, and booked before it hits the workshop
Lead and develop the service advisory team with clear standards and accountability
Oversee warranty and insurance claims to maximise recovery and minimise leakage
Coordinate closely with parts and workshop to prevent delays and rework
Monitor job profitability, variations, and margin leakage
Enforce clean paperwork and procedural compliance from booking to invoicing
About You
You're commercially minded, organised, and calm under pressure.
You likely come from an automotive, caravan, heavy vehicle, or technical service environment, and you understand how poor scoping and weak communication destroy margins.
You're the type who:
Sets clear expectations and sticks to them
Communicates confidently with customers and staff
Holds people to standards without creating drama
Cares about numbers, not just being liked
Takes ownership when things go wrong — and fixes them
Leadership experience is essential.
Industry experience is highly regarded.
